Having taken part in two bake offs and reaching the final last year I for one am looking forward to this years edition ,especially in this lovely period of isolation !
Between trying to constantly improve my sourdough baking this will be much welcome as I and so many pastry chefs are missing our job so much .
trust me the bake off is a tough competition but its really rewarding ,it brought me so much confidence and inspiration afterwards after knowing what i could achieve .
with my trusted team mate and very talented chef Evaldas we were the underdogs of the competition and we definitely broke the mould in terms of artistic direction .
some times we succeed some we didn't ,but what a learning curve .
Getting comments by Cherish Finden and Benoit Blin is definitely highlights of a career .
Meeting new pastry chefs and forging a relation ship out of it is another one of the great perks .
The pictures just show how tired we were ,my baby daughter was just 6 months then (I know ,why enter a competition !) and plus running a busy place at same time didn't help .
But again everyone was in same situation (minus baby).
check out our adventures season 2 ,you will have a good laugh .
